Our counselors offer a variety of approaches for pre-adolescents and adolescents, including activity therapy, group counseling, and traditional talk therapy. Activity therapy is frequently used with this age group, providing a developmentally appropriate way to express thoughts and feelings without feeling the pressure or anxieties that may be associated with talk therapy. We work with clients through a variety of means, including expressive arts, sandtray therapy, and therapeutic games to build trust and therapeutic rapport, explore feelings, and help them reach their goals.
